So...I'm trying to lose weight again and I'm excited to do it! I only have one problem. The last time I lost weight (almost forty pounds) I was on a high protein low carb diet. Now I can't do that because my iron levels are too high and there are a lot of health complications that I can run into. It's making things a lot more difficult because iron is in almost everything healthy, especially protein.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I found out two months ago about the iron and I'm signed up to donate blood every three months to see if that will help to correct the problem. But other than that I need some advice.

P.S. If anyone on here has anemia, you can have some of my iron.
