feeling a bit flat. Went to boot camp class and seemed to struggle more than usual. Was slower and strength wasn't the greatest. doing pump class soon so maybe will even out. Feel like I'm having a pity party with myself today. Make sure not to party with food and champagne and all should be ok. Hope the scale moves in right direction soon.

Mamma, I just read your entry. Feeling flat sometimes happens especially when the scales aren't moving and you have been working your butt off! Pump class is good and remember its normal sometimes to be heavier after a workout - the whoosh on the scales will come, especially if you have been good with the food. Weight loss is 80% food and 20% exercise. I only walk maybe once a week at the moment. I want to increase my exercise when the weight is becoming harder to lose - to boost the metabolism even more. I know there are some people that don't agree with that way of thinking but in the past it has worked for me. My problem has always been going back to old habits in the eating department that I end up where I started at. Don't beat yourself up - you will see movement on those scales soon. Its really hard too at this time of year. Don't put too much pressure on yourself either. Slow and steady. It's ok to have a cheat meal once a week - it will keep you going. Keeping you in my thoughts.

thanks ever so much for your supportive words.I think exercise is such an individual thing. I love exercise classes. I have done them for years. I'm addicted to it. so that 80% is my downfall. I have yoyoed for years. Im married to an amazing guy who is so supportive with my weight loss goals. Only thing is our social/personal time revolves around food and drinks. He is also a sensational cook. We tend to cook together most weekends and spare time that we have together. Bit tricky but doable. Keep your walks up to what ever suits you. If you don't like it ( a little bit) you won't do it for long and if it works its good! :)
