Awww what a sweet girl I hope she recovers well ❤️ 

Dogs are amazing in their ability to adapt to physical changes, unlike us humans, they don't wallow in self pity, they do fall into depressions when they are in hostile environments, but in a safe and loving environment I have seen dogs who lost limbs learn to use prosthetics and go back to playing as if the accident had never happened. She looks so happy...and she is posing in a very coy manner in the cone!

Ddrudd, MTS, cmj, and Red porch, thank you guys for all your support..Debra, the 1st two nights were scary. I was so worried but I could see that every day at home with us was a better day for her. She had a super good day today. She even played with her babies a bit. She is still urinating often and it's bloody but that's expected. I only had to get up once with her last night. Big improvement!💜 

Judy, thank you for your prayers. Sydney is beginning to feel better.🩷 

Im so glad to see that she is doing better. Being home with her mommy and papa most definitely have to make her feel better. Continued prayers for her healing to be fast and thorough. 

After last night, I sympathize completely with Sydney, I felt like my bladder had shrunk and I had to go frequently....what a pain in the butt that is. Diana, for what it's worth, some of your issues might be sleep deprivation.....even though you only had to take Sydney out once during the night....I'll bet you are sleeping very lightly and listening hard for any sounds she might make that would indicate she needs to go out.  

YOH and Debra, yesterday I drank a ton of water! ( thanks YOH for reminding me)! I know too how Sydney feels! I was up and down all day and night... seriously though, she is doing better. She can hold her pee for about an hour. We take her back to Dr on Weds for post op check up. 💜 

The drawback of trying to stay hydrated when we aren’t 21 anymore…up and down. I swear i would sleep better if my bladder wouldn’t wake me up so often. Although i do try not to drink too much after around 6pm except for 8 oz at bedtime for magnesium and ashweganda i take to help me sleep. So im down from 5-6 x a night to generally twice. Sweet little Sydney. Hoping she gets an A+ on Wednesday. Diana, are you feeling any lighter (emotionally i mean). 

My guess is that her bladder felt like ours when you have a bladder infection and feel like you have to pee with every breath. Glad she’s getting better.
