Did your husband go hunting? Mine doesn't do this, but I know some guys that do.  

SherryeB- yes he’s leaving today and will be home the day I go back to work. Only thing is he already got a buck this year. Sure he could get a doe yet. We rarely have time together off as a family. When he takes off it’s just for him. That is starting to bother me as to where I used to be ok with it.  

My husband used to go hunting with his dad and siblings every year..not anymore..his dad died, his siblings moved away. He seems so lost during the time they used to go that I actually offered to go with him this year. He was so excited but then he didn't get a tag..I felt terrible for him. I never minded him gone but then we are together a lot, sounds like your situation is different. Does he know how you feel?  

Diana- I could understand that. Yes my situation is a bit different. Hubby belongs to a cabin where he hunts and goes to camp meetings/ work weekends with a group of older guys/ friends. So none are family and it’s just for the guys. He knows how I feel. I’m frustrated because I feel he doesn’t understand that I’m home all the time with my daughter and I don’t get help when he’s not around. He hardly ever takes off and when he does it is for him to go away by himself and I just feel lonely and stuck with the daily grind. I have no one really.
