Randomness... I've ALMOST finished remodeling my place. Almost.

It will hereby be known as "J.R.'s house of Awesomeness +1".

I've got some before/after pics of my (okay, mostly my step dad's) hard work. Hopefully you can see them all. Sometimes FS won't let you post more than 2 or 3.

Oh my goodness, what a makeover!! I especially love the master bedroom. The red is such a great choice for the walls!! Well done.

Thank you. But yeah... this is why I'm poor. LOL It's still not completely done, but close enough that it's livable and looks decent.

I'm guessing you own this house, right? We rent one so I don't think they'd be too keen on us making improvements, but that would be cool.

Nope. Actually, my step dad owns it, and he's the one that's been helping me do all of this. Since it's his house he's funding the vast majority of it, and as an added bonus my rent is REALLY cheap (since I'm family AND I'm helping). The downside is that I haven't had a free weekend in a year because of all this remodeling.

I'm sure you make exceptions when you can. It'll be worth it when it's all said and done. Then you can have all your friends over, have a big party and destroy the house! Woo hoo!

We remodeled the house we are in, my husband and I had so much fun w/ it. I am pretty bored w/ it now that everything is done actually lol... I am ready for a NEW project. Then again I remember clearly all the fun you are having oh man...lol Great job /0! btw you are allowed to marry now, I love a handy man.
