My hubby is back from his business trip! Yay, I hate when he is not home at night. He has been gone since Wednesday morning, I didn't post anything about it until he was back. I don't believe in advertising the fact that someone is out of town. Safer that way. I had to take my son to school this week, it was supposed to be my hubby's turn for high school. It's on his way to work. Nope, first week he takes him one day and then me for the rest of the week. Ugh, my son got into a magnet school and it is NOT close and it's in a bad section of town. Blake has a great magnet program though so it's worth it. My son does take the bus home, tonight it was almost 6 p.m. when he got home. School lets out at 3. The first week or two are usually the worst and he is supposed to be dropped off around 4:30ish. It had better improve. It is throwing off my schedule.

Happy that I fit into a size 16 pair of shorts. I washed a pair of shorts I thought were size 18 and went to put them on and noticed the 16. I said to myself at least try them on to see how much longer before you can wear them. They have been on all day. :) I stopped at one of my favorite thrift stores today and got another pair of shorts to wear now and another pair to wear next size down. Half price thrift store shorts! Score. I spent 2 dollars on 2 pairs.
I'm hoping since hubby is now home I will go back to a more normal sleeping pattern. I don't sleep well when he is gone. I'm not used to it and start to hear noises at 3 a.m. even when there are no noises. TOM is still around.
