If you don't have any income then you need to contact the DPA. They can help you until you can support yourself and children. They can at least advise you on what to do. Can't imagine that you can continue like this.

Do you have women's refuges over there? Over here, you call them. They come and collect you and take you to a safe house, get you a social worker, get you on a benefit, arrange a house for you to move into. etc etc etc. Just a phone call.

go to a women's shelter. They'll help you get on your feet, especially since you have kids

Failures are a necessary part of the road to success in any endeavor. Learn from your past then forget about it.
Build your dreams and goals off of your future potential, not your past experience. You aren’t the person you were a year ago and you shouldn’t be the same person this time next year. Keep evolving and you can become unstoppable in life.

Apply for assistance, get a social worker. Apply for housing, food stamps.

That’s what the system is there for until you can get on your feet.
I was on housing assistance and food stamps for 4 years while I got my teaching degree.
I worked part time and paid partial rent. The system saved my life.

There must be services in your area for 'women in transition'. Social services, assistance, even housing. Your local police, ER or library can give you numbers to call.

Dazey, you really seem to have the right idea here. If it is helpful, maybe make a table of issues with a column for the issues you can address right now, near future or much later and then a column about how you propose to manage the issue? This type of structure has helped me address complex problems in the past. Libraries are good places to think clearly. ❤️🩹❤️🔥
