Yesterday's session with the personal trainer was a killer. Did a super set of medicine ball slams with overhead medicine ball toss and almost blacked out. Never felt like that in a workout before. Could really feel it in the trapezius muscles!
Now I am sore in places I haven't been sore in in such a while. Just tells me I have a lot more work to do.

I find medicine ball exercises a challenge,too. I am not sure why because I can do much heavier dumbbells without issue. The slams use all the back muscles for me!

Good job. The soreness also says you got a great workout so kudos for all your effort. What's really nice is that as you keep it up what made you so sore right now won't make you so sore as time goes on, which will be a great measure of progress!
