> ClassicRocker, I didn't think it was possible to get as far as I have at my age. The answer is no, I'm out of the obese range but at the top of the normal range. It may sound silly but I would love to have a six pack and I'm not talking beer...

If you can do it, go for it. Funny you talk about age. Stats show more older folks getting in shape. I started at 61, so there is no age limit. But if you do get a six, more power to you.

>Wholefoodnut, I'm pretty amazed. This weight loss journey has led into a quest for fitness. Even when I'm sore I feel better than when I started this journey. I'm glad I'm not alone... To everybody, I'm grateful to each of you who made a kind comment. But if the truth is to be told, many here have met their goals several times. It's a just a one day thing. These last ten pounds have been like starting on day one. Who knows what I will see on the scale in the morning. I do know that I feel better now...

John, it has changed my life so much I sometimes can't believe it. This site has helped me so much along the way and I've learned so much from the people here. I love love working out and miss it if I can't get to the gym so my house is turning into a mini gym..LOL my grandkids love it and think it's funny that their 66 yo granny has gym equipment. I've also met my goal weight over and over and gained it back over 20+ years. I had to find a way to get healthy for my life, not for a diet. Hobbling around hurting was not how I wanted to spend the rest of my life. A wise doc threatened me with that outlook if I did not start down a different path.

The last few... IMHO.... harder for me then losing the initial 80 something. Always here for you to offer support.

Tony Horton says that getting older is for people who don't know any better! Congrats on your weight loss, and don't let age slow you down.
