Uggh! I ordered a Lifetrak Move for my son. Found out today after I opened it that it is NOT compatible with my Samsung Galaxy S5. It has a known issue with it and MAYBE after the next update to my phone it MAY work. It's going back to amazon tomorrow. Really they couldn't put that on the product page. Thankfully they put the vivofit 2 on sale again so I decided to bite the bullet and just get him one. He needs one for the required online class he is planning to take. I just won't let him use the one they want him to use. It's not waterproof/resistant. Please I live in Florida and it's summer time. I kayak and he is also going to this summer. Swimming is a good way to cool off and my mom's community has a pool. I didn't want to spend the extra money on the vivofit 2 but I know it's good for all the activities that we will/are doing this summer. I also knows it syncs with our devices. Since he doesn't have a smart phone (just a tracfone) he'll just have to use the computer to sync it. If the Move could have synced to the computer I wouldn't have cared about it not working with my phone but it won't. I started researching how many steps he should be doing a day and it's 15,000. No, that is not a typo 15,000. Wow, I thought him getting 10,000 a day with me was good. Oh well, he can up his walking/exercise. He now almost hates summer vacation. If he liked physical activity all would be good but he's a book nerd. He would much rather read, watch tv, or play a video game. On the plus side I'm already at 10,000 steps today and my goal was only increased to 6,000 this week. I should just increase it already.
