Random question. Doese anyone else...over count their calories and carbs? Like if I eat 3/4 I mark it as a whole serving. Even when I do that I keep my calorie and carb count deficient. I think that is a big part of why I've lost more weight lately. (I also think my scale is off and needs new batteries.) Thank you all for the input!

I do when eating out to allow for all the delicious extra calories restaurants add.

I think it depends on the person. I put exactly what I consume in as close as possible. However I’m a very active person so I need all my calories to fuel my body while trying to remain in a deficit. Under eating can cause the body to store fat as well and slow down metabolism. But if it’s working for you that’s awesome! Keep up the great work! 🤍

Sometimes 😊 Also, if I’m not sure on the calorie content, I’ll try to over compensate a bit just to be sure I’m covered. If that makes any sense!?!? Lol 😉😂

Not intentionally, but when in doubt, I'll try to err on the high side

I actually weigh what I eat if I can, then I can be pretty accurate. Sometimes it’s not possible and I do an educated guess. It’s just habit now after a million years of doing it. A “serving” is often at the discretion of the server

Always round up everything I eat trying to get below my current weight.

Yes. There are studies that show most people underestimate how much they eat by about 30%. I figure that rounding up offsets that tendency a bit.

you're doing an amazing job and don't let the battery switching scare you, they're more accurate than it seems. Yes, that is how I do it with all foods eaten. Unfortunately I dont "feel" like I have lost anything in four months, but doc's scale in 3 weeks will tell the truth.
