Diario de Faudia F, 16 feb. 23

Do you allow yourselves cheat meals and how often in the week? I'm busy eating mine now for lunch. I don't want to take a picture as to not trigger anyone. I'm usually so good with my food and we eat meals made from scratch but today I just feel a bit emotional and irritated. My mood has been great since exercising about 5 days a week. My husband says this has been the biggest change in me apart from the weight loss.

Cheat meals also have so many calories!

I dont really do "cheat meals" but I do eat whatever I want, whenever I want (with in reason ofc). I just have smaller portions and try to work it into my daily calorie goal. Like I'll skip breakfast if I know I'm going to have a high calorie lunch. Or I reduce my daily carb intake if I know I'm going to have cake, etc. I do however always try to meet my protein goal for the day, even if it means I'll go a bit over my daily calories.

Also, everyone's "cheat" or treat is different. I never eat takeaways or low quality junk foodd - I just don't enjoy it. I indulge in quality foods, like going to a nice restaurant or having baked goods like pastries from a top rated bakery.

Don’t call it a cheat meal, your allowed something nice every once in a while, enjoy that treat and then jump back on your cal counting wagon. Saw a video about the “twinkie” diet, where a professor ate only sweet and processed food, but he made sure to keep to his daily allowance of calories or less, he lost weight and the diet had some health benefits as well.
