Diario de sterlinggirl, 22 abr. 15

Seams I really should start to use the calorie's portion of this forum.
I need to start seeing what actual numbers I am consuming as apposed to guessing. I may not be hitting enough calories or I may be eating to many, only way to know is to track. So today I will start to log what I eat as I eat. The inches are melting off my body on this plan which is more important then what that dang scale says.. Today I will promise my self that I will stay off daily and trust the plan as it is designed. Once a week weight checks, that is goin to be harder than any food reduction . I have a compulsion to check to see what that scale says and I let it determine how my day will be, so going forward... I will feel great about progress and only get on 1 per week starting today!

Journaling your food will keep you honest. Weigh and measure it too.

Yes sweetie measure.. since I began on atkins it was about 4 days before I joined FS site I weighed in at 157 end of Feb. then 155 when I came to FS beginning of March Im around 137 now 20 lbs down.. but my measurements are what Im proud of I was 33.5 in. in my waist in the beginning now 29 in my waist. I was 41.5 in hips.. 37 in now in hips and my thighs were 24 in now 20.5 in. in the largest part of thighs so that is not bad for less than 8 weeks:) so you can do this we are here for you..good luck

ClassicRocker is so right, tracking your food is an amazing help. I learned to weigh and measure as I always eyeballed everything, really an eye opener as far as portions go. I've lost 60 pounds and went from a size 18 to a size 4 in jeans mostly just watching not eating junk, limiting sugar, and tracking everything, add in some exercise. Took me awhile but I've been at 130 since last summer. I still track most of the time, though miss some days.

Tracking what I eat really helps me out & using measuring cups instead of guessing.

Tracking, weighing, measuring is the way to go. Wow 20 pounds in under 8 weeks. Seems like your original way of eating must have been high in bad carbs.
