NSV today and if this bothers you then please scroll on!!! I connected with an old friend that invited me and I got the opportunity today to go deer hunting and got a nice size doe at daybreak! It has been about 8 years since I was able to do this and I'm super excited to put meat in my freezer! With it just being me now this doe will feed my for quite a while!! It was even better to connect with a friend and spent the rest of the day visiting and sharing our similar situations/experiences and connecting!!! Onward we go!!

I use to live in Kansas and I would bow hunt deer to fill my freezer. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Well done Arkie! If you field dressed that animal out there in the woods you forgot to mention that all the Coyote pups in the area went to bed that night with full tummies! As I was cleaning my deer up for transport I listened to constant yipping from Coyotes that had caught the scent down wind. I’m sure they moved in for a free meal as soon as I departed. And so life continues.. 🎯

Yes 66Pack, we field dressed it out on the woods and left those yotes a good dinner, circle of life for sure! Will process it Saturday and vacuum seal for freezing. Haven't had an inner loin in quite a while and looking forward to it! Sounds like you got some meat in your freezer too, congrats!
