I HAVE LOST 100lbs

It is official i have managed to lose a 100 lbs. I have been quiet around here lately, distracted by work and life in general, but i promise to Journal more often. I am overjoyed to to have lost a 100 lbs, to be honest when i started out i was not so sure if i could do it. For those of you who follow the metric system i have officially waved goodbye to the 80's and am in the 70's region, cant wait for the 60's. Also going by BMI(yes it is not a good measure)in 3 more kgs or 7 lbs i will no longer be classified as Obese just overweight. To other people being overweight is not something to rejoice about, for me speaking as someone who has been obese since 14 yrs old . . . i am ecstatic. I am no longer the biggest one in my family *dance*. I can actually fit clothes off the rack in stores !!

One of the best things ever is my new ability to do things. When i was 275 lbs, i hated doing any strenuous activity, it would exhaust me. Yesterday i went out hiking with a bunch of old friends and everyone was amazed at my stamina. I was ahead of the pack and i loved every minute of it without even breaking a sweat. I a loving my "new body" and i am delighting at finding out the things it can do now.


With that said, i am no where near done quite yet. I have about 35 lbs to go. This part i will take it more slowly and take a few months to lose it instead of going at the speed that i have been going at.

Thank you everyone for your wonderful support. There have been so many people on here who have been my motivation and inspiration when things got tough.
