After 72 days of only have three daily 12-oz cans of Diet Coke, I made an executive decision. This was the first day of trying to get the pool closed. We had to remove the solar cover, scrub both sides of it, and let it dry to roll up for the season. As you know, I am VERY sedentary, and it was a lot of very hard work to get it scrubbed. I was so hot, my face was blood red. I decided that I would allow myself an extra can of Diet Coke today. The trick was making sure that I only drank ONE extra, and not to go hog wild. I'm feeling pretty confident about it, and I don't regret my decision. Thursday will be an even harder day, as we attempt to get everything else done. I may opt to allow one extra can on that day, too, and then back to 3 cans only. The next trick will be to make sure that this doesn't become a habit!
Hopefully I sweat off a little weight today, but no movement in the bowel department today, so not sure how that will factor in.
At lunch, I could only eat HALF of everything I had portioned out. Was planning to have the other half for dinner, but then I would miss my fiber goal by not having my butter beans. So, I'm just going to have the other half for my lunch tomorrow.
OH, tomorrow in my challenge results, I'll actually get to put that I "increased my exercise and activity!"
Praying that my knee and back won't be hurting tomorrow (like they are now from the pool work).
