True story. Mostly.

I managed not to set myself on fire this weekend. My parents' lawn was not so lucky. Oops.

Note to self: Next time don't set off fireworks next to the dried grass clippings.

In other news, I'm tired. Even though it was a 3 day weekend I never got to slow down and relax (or 'chillax' as the uber-cool kids say). I picked up my cousin, her husband, and kid from the airport Friday and then played chauffeur for a bit. They've been in England for the last two years (she was stationed there in the Air Force) so it was good to see them again. Saturday I cooked desserts forever. I made a white chocolate chip monkey bread and then cupcakes with my own super awesome cream cheese icing. Then I went to my parents house and had fun starting fires and generally blowing s*** up. On Sunday I put racing stripes on my friends car. I am generally cartarded, so I'm amazed we actually pulled that off.

Oh, and I started watching True Blood. My mind kind of asploded from that. I've watched the first 4 episodes so far.
