I’m baaaack! After “failing” at intermittent fasting, I came to the conclusion that I wasn’t doing it right and it wasn’t for me.
This saddened me as I believe in the science behind it. So I came back from vacation with Bushwacker boat tours and I ate a cheeseburger in Paradise at Lulu’s and gained 5 lbs AFTER I got home!

Then we got Covid and took a couple of weeks before we got to walking again but am back to 3 miles and are doing it daily. We watched some EXCELLENT videos from a doctor, about lowering insulin levels and burning belly fat and IT MADE SENSE!

Takeaway? I’d let too many carbs slip into my diet. I’d gotten lax with tracking my food and measuring my blood sugar as ignorance is bliss. I was eating too much protein and to much food because I like my own cooking. Nothing terrible but when you’re insulin resistant it all adds up.
