Diario de bridgetbrannon, 19 jun. 09

I made the mistake of weighing twice yesterday. Once early and once late and of course I had gained which was disheartening. Did I spell that right? Anyway, how many times does everyone else weigh? Daily weekly monthly? I have a book called the 5 day miracle food plan or something like that and she suggests not weighing often. I can't remember how often. I slept late today because baby girl is with her father this weekend. I have to get up and get exercising. I mean I have been awake but just lazy. I actually feel pretty good today.

If you are going to weigh-in daily, do it in the morning before you eat. Once you start eating and drinking, all the food and drink will show up on the scale. It's normal to weigh more at night. Wear the same clothes and always use the same scale. Also remember that the scale can change hourly, because our bodies are made up of 60% water, and things like sodium, sore muscles from exercise, medications, stress, time of the month,et. can all effect our weight. How often you weigh is up to you. Just keep in mind the normal fluctuations and don't let the ups and downs bother you.

I think that weighing in frequently adds on stress to people. They believe that they are supposed to see some kinda of results everytime tehy get on the scale. I think that can be very disheartening. I try to weigh in only about 1x a wk, always in the morning right after I use the restroom. To each his own.
