Seems like I am using this app to track my weight gain 😢 So here we are AGAIN, starting over for what seems like the hundredth time……… Wondering when I will figure it out, hopefully before I turned 50 in 9 months!

I can relate some days Tammielynn. I think this app is tracking my weight loss M-Tr and the same 2 pound gain on the wkend! But overall I’m healthier and more active, less cravings. And hey we’re here with intention. That’s a step in the right direction! Keep going. 💕

I agree with @darkknight. Could you possibly identify even one thing that stands in your path and works against your progress? If you could change even one thing that really makes a difference perhaps you would feel like you’re making a permanent change. With you all the way, girl👍

At the risk of sounding like a broken record … how’s your sodium? I’ve lost 9 pounds in the last 4 days and it *has to* be mostly loss of retained fluid.

Thanks for all the thoughts. What stands in my way is definitely an eating disorder. I am either all in or all out. Almost like an alcoholic who falls of the wagon. I am considering therapy to get to the “why”.

Hey TamieLynn. i can relate. the big processed food companies put sugar in everything because they know its addictive and they've been creating generations of sugar junkies since the 70s. and I'm one of them. I have my most success eating low carb. At 61 I can't afford to be morbidly overweight again. Need to keep reminding myself if I want to be around for my family for a ling time I must stay strong and disciplined!

I’ve considered therapy to get to the why as well. I know that I’m using food to numb past trauma and that this is what gets in my way to manage my food intake. I think that’s reality for a lot of people.

TL, I used this for 3 years tracking upwards the entire time hahah. Since January I've been tracking downward big time. When you are ready, you will get down and dirty with it. love yourself along the ups and downs
