LOL, and again lol. Our bodies are weird. For me with the extra exercising I am doing I had to up my protein, if I do not eat the right things and the right amount (and right now it seems like I am eating a lot) I gain weight back. But if I do my exercise, and eat my proper amount in the right portions I lose. Protein powder is working for me right now, its helped me step up my game.
