When I started this journey (again) last year, I did it to prove to myself I could again. I did it out of spite for a trip I took to 6flags where I couldn't fit on 90% of the rides and had to be asked to get off ON MY BIRTHDAY. I was so embarrassed I cried. I told myself I had to change and if I did it at 19, I could do it again at 26. 100lbs sounded like a big number at first but I got about 10 off when I went to my Dr and they told me I had insulin resistance and was close to being diabetic type 2. I was put on Ozempic and have used it in connection with my workouts and eating better. Now 35.5 lbs down, and 100 is getting that much closer!

Thanks everyone. Being part of this community has been super helpful and I think it has added to my success. I don't feel so bad when I have down days or get off track a little as long as I always start again. It's been way more sustainable this time. 💙🥰 thank you all for being my motivation

I can't imagine the pain you felt at 6Flags, esp on your b'day. That's awful. But, you've taken that experience & used it to motivate you to lose the weight for good! 10% makes a HUGE difference in your numbers & you're there! That's really big! The community at FS is really wonderful you're right. Lean on us. I've learned tips & things I've never thought of putting together thru these fantastic people. Congrats & keep it going, you can do it! 1m
