So far I've lost 112 lb. Each time I've lost weight before, I've regained it back and added more pounds on top. This is the reason I decided to have the weight-loss surgery. It's been almost a year since the surgery, and I continue to be unable to eat more than 1000 kcal a day (and that is trying!). My focus is on the nutrition now, and I never thought that would be possible for me. I have a dread that this won't last, but my rational self says I'm not being realistic. I mean, I had a slice of apple bread and a half cup of milk, and I'm so full I can't even take a drink of water. Yet I still have nightmares where I'm overeating, and even in my dream I'm screaming at myself to stop. I guess it will take a while being at a smaller size to really believe I won't regain all the weight I lost.

thats the mind saying you cant do it. you just have to believe in yourself and really listen to your body. also, yes, with eating so little calories you should definitely try to make those calories count as nutritious ones, or else your body wont have as much energy as it should. try to eat more fruit, chicken, veggies, yogurt, and other good foods. limit bread (which fills you up very quickly with empty caloires) and cheeses and heavy dressings on salad. this will help you feel more energetic even though your havnig little calories. also, take a multivitamin
