Good morning, guys!!

Sorry I've been MIA all weekend, but it was pretty packed! I have to tell you about one of the things I did this weekend. Yesterday morning I participated in the Race For The Cure in Philadelphia, and it was one of the most amazing experiences in my life thus far. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer this past January and my aunt is a survivor, so this was a big deal for me. Extremely satisfying. :)

So anyway! As far as my weight goes, I'm not getting on the scale until the end of this week! My body is feeling so much more toned and fit, but the scale isn't changing so I'm gonna give it until Friday morning and then see what's going on. I'm hoping I'm just building muscle! lol! :) My food choices were great, and I did a ton of exercise! I'm starting Level 2 of the Shred tonight, too! :) I'll let you all know how it goes!

Yay! Level 2 in my opinion is the toughest strength wise, but I loved it! Yeah isn't it annoying when you've worked hard, and the numbers don't move? Keep it up and DON'T get discouraged, all the hard work WILL pay off!

Thanks, princess! How is level 2 cardio-wise? That seems to be my toughest area in Level 1 (jumping jacks and jump rope together).

Good for you for participating in the Race for a Cure. I can imagine how they felt to be a participant. Wasn't it you that said for me to quit looking at the numbers? hehe :)

You know, but it's easy to get hung up on the numbers, and even though you said that I still can't stop worrying. I bet you lose alot of inches doing level 2 and I can't wait to see if the scale does move for you. You've got patience to not look at that scale. I would be just a peeping to see. Good luck with level 2...

Im sure you're building muscle. Also, if you're working out a lot your muscles might be holding onto water. So keep going and remember to drink your water. The more you drink, the less you will retain. As others have said, its so easy to only want the scale to move, but when people see you on the street they don't see a number. When you get into a new, smaller pair of pants, those pants don't know the number either. So keep it up!

BEETS! I didn't even think of the muscles holding water! I think I need to get a bigger mug for work. Thanks for the info! :)
