BIG EVENT today - went shopping yesterday for a new outfit, went to the plus size and much to my surprise the 1x was to big!! Didn't have time to look in the regular sizes but sure was a good feeling to not buy anything. So think I will shop in my own closet today - I know somewhere in the mess I have some smaller size clothes :-)

Big challenge today - birthday party for a friend. The menu if full of carbs so nothing I can eat...so I will eat a big lunch before and stay busy - that way hopefully they will notice that I'm not eating. Or I might just pickup a small salad and take it. NO CAKE for me...I CHOOSE NOT TO eat it. Old me...oh yea birthday cake - icense to eat uncontrollably all weekend!
