Glad that is over I had to go to the hospital today and have a nerve block in my back because of the degenerative Disks nothing like having a 5 inch needle shoved in bewteen your spine and vertabrates yowww. So I cut my workout short this morning so I could be on time. Funny thing though I wanted to wear something loose to the hospital I grab a pair of jeans and through a belt in the truck after taking two steps the jeans were on there way to my ankles so I through the belt on quick though I had grab a pair of my 36's and looked at the ones I had on they are 38's I am swimming in them glad I remembered the belt :)

Thanks, a friend helpped me get through the pain of the shot and it really does help with the pain in my back, I do appreciate the support :)

back pain it terrible I get a pinched nerve from an accident years ago and its all you can do not to pee your pants. lol good job on going down another pant size. that's always a great feeling. I hope everything is going better at home. ive really been thinking of you about that lately. Everyone deserves to be happy.

Back pain is a nightmare - I have a dislocated disc which occasionally pinches a nerve and I am off for a few days howling in pain. I have bough an inversion table and it really made a difference. I can now stand perfectly upright after sitting for a longtime, I was not able to before, I would stay slightly bent until the pain is totally gone and I was so used to that I would not even notice if other people would not tell me.

Yes the pain is very bad at time and my left leg stays kind of numb and painful, if I sit on something hard for about 20 minutes my whole mid section starts to go numb so I try not to sit on anything hard, haha.

Was the nerve block planned... or did something happen? I feel so bad for you - I can't imagine anything involving a 5" needle. But I imagine you were grinning through the pain as you thought of the 38" pants that were headed to the floor!

LOL, LMJ that is funny and yes two steps no belt and down they went. Yes it was planned I get them about every three months trying to adoiv back surgery.

Well, I don't know how bad your discs are, but I had that procedure done twice. The doc told me that I would be back to see him anywhere from 2 weeks to a month. That was almost 3 years ago. You might get lucky. Took like 6 months for me for the pain to move around and then finally disappear.

DairyKing thanks, They are bad but not bad enough for surgery yet and the shots really do help actually he hit a good spot this time pain is minimal for a change. I have had my neck fused C2 through C6 just trying to hang in there I hate having surgery
