So the fabulous weekend I was anticipating wasn’t so fabulous. Friday afternoon I came down with the stomach bug my husby and daughter had the last two weeks. So I spent most of Friday evening in bed, and most of Saturday curled up on the couch. Started to feel better Saturday evening and decided to make dinner. Ended up getting a wicked steam burn on my hand and nursed that the rest of the evening… Sunday I did get to enjoy my family a bit, but it went by in a flash since I had to cram my whole weekend (cleaning, etc.) into one day… *sigh* I’m already ready for Friday!
