i need some major advice on losing weight. i have tried every diet out there and i can't seem to stick to anything and its very discouraging. i feel like i should give up, but i do want to lose weight. i'm so lost. someone please give some advice!!!! a good and flexible diet and exercise.

I see you have signed up for the Jillian 30 shred challenge. Me too. That is a great place to start. 20 minutes a day we all have that. Right.?? I know I found consistancy my biggest problem. Challenges keep me accountable, do I really want to put down I didn't do it. Heck NO!! I could lie but what good would that do. This is my second year here on FS, and my second time trying to figure out what my weight loss journey looks like. I found the combination of WW and The four golden rules about food from Paul Mckenna work the best for me. I also know that the only time I have lost weight between my three pregnancies is when I got moving every day. It was mostly walking at a pace where my heart rate was elevated. The other understanding I have found is my weight loss/gain has everything to do with myself esteem. We all have our own paths and this website is a wonderful way to connect and support others on their journey.

There's a magazine on the newstands called "clean eating". It's not a diet, just advocates healthy eating. It might be something to look into. You try to stay away from processed foods and eat more natural and healthy fare (such as fruits, veggies, lean protein, and dairy). WW is also a good flexible plan too. Start with small steps, even if it's just eating 3 pieces of fruit a day for a week. Then adding in more vegetables. High fiber foods fill you up and keep you fuller longer. Good luck~
