Today I'm 3 months smoke free.
My weight have gone up quite a bit, BUT I still fit into my NSV work pants (size 34), albeit a bit tight. I've started a program on Samsung Health, where I'm training to run a 5km. I've never run in my life. Except for warming up during Crossfit classes. I'm not doing any weigh-ins at the moment, because the scale is from the devil. I judge on how my pants fit me.

Congrats on your 3 months, Leksie! And great that you're still fitting into those pants! What a great thing to work towards a 5km run. I could only ever do what I call a 'trot' when I tried Parkrun a few years ago. Good luck with your new fun goal!

congrats on the smoking cessation. that's more important than almost anything right now. you're far enough along that your lungs are recovering, and you're young enough that it will matter for the rest of your life.

congratulations. Best decision you made. I stopped 2 years ago and feel much better.
the weight will sort itself out with exercise and eating right. it's just your metabolism slowing down for now. Don't be too hard on yourself if you do put a bit of weight on, it's all part of the process. keep going. very proud of you
