Stress can do funny things to your body. It can raise your cotisol levels which can inhibit weight loss. Exercise is good for stress. Take the puppies out for a good walk each day if you can. It will help take away some of their energy and help you burn calories. When you don't have a lot to lose, activity can make a big difference. Make sure you are tracking your food honestly. Measuring cups and spoons are great tools. If you are eyeballing food, you might be taking in more than you think. Watch the sodium and bites, licks and tastes. Those bites here and tastes there can halt weight loss and make you yo yo up and down the same few pounds. Drink you water. All the small things you do add up. When you have so little to lose, you have to really tighten up the diet and be active. It took a friend 6 months to lose the last 10 pounds. Focus on fat loss, not just weight loss. Plenty of lean protein and high fiber foods. Good luck!
