I found this website when I started dieting but hadn't thought to much of it til today. www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator
You put in your age height and weight and how much exercise you do and will calculate how many calories you need for your weight to lose extreme loss and maintain. I am still under the extreme weight loss intake for the most part. I just don't eat enough. I get my points in sometimes I still have to have a snack before bed to get them in but I get my points but just a lot of calories. It says for me to maintain:2220 calories
weight loss:1776 calories
extreme weight loss: 1332 calories
I have been staying under 1300 for the most part. And the exercise list should have something for housewife. I am not cleaning all day but I am up doing something, cooking, folding clothes, picking up toys, I only get an hour tops to sit down at the computer and get work done. However on my exercise diary it looks like I don't do anything all day. If you asked my husband he would say I don't do anything either. He just doesn't get to see what all I do because he gets the joy of going to work and coming home to a clean house with clean children, a clean puppy, horses that are fed, stalls that are clean, and a hot meal on the table.LOL! That is another thing it has horseback riding but nothing about animal care or grooming. Boy howdy I know I burn some calories when I am grooming our three horses and mucking out the stalls and throwing hay to them. I am drenched in sweat and my muscles hurt when I am done. Well my mom is on her way so I will probably work out by myself at the gym tonight which will bum the kids out. They are really liking going to the gym with me and they know how to work all the equipment even the ones they are not quite big enough for. Chelsea loves the crunch machine. I noticed this morning that little girl is getting some abs too. I have always worried about kids that workout a lot getting to much into it and not getting to be a kid. I want my children to be healthy but not obsessed with the time at the gym and what they eat. That is my job. I want them to make healthy choices and get exercise in everyday but not to worry so much that they forget to be a kid. I mean Chelsea is 4 she has always been a petite girl but she did have a little tummy which was so cute, and now it is gone and she has muscle definition in her little abs. Michael wants big muscles like the other boys at the gym (which are grown boys) is what he tells me. I just have to tell him in his own time he will get them. I have to go clean the laundry room floor and get some more laundry going before Nana gets here.
