Diario de joietee, 02 mar. 09

I started the Fat Smash diet as an added incentive for giving up meat for Lent. I started on Ash Wednesday, February 25th 2009, and I weighed 213 the night before. This morning I weighed 205.6 lbs. I've done this diet once or twice before, the first time I lost 11 lbs. in the 9 day detox of Phase I, and I don't remember weight loss after that. I have never made it past Phase I. Mostly because I don't particularly care for most of the recipes in the book. But I found some recipes I actually like at www.3fatchicks.com and I found some others here that seem interesting, so I will try them. Mostly I have been eating fruits and vegetables as snacks, and salads, but I learned how to make my own granola as a snack, and a couple of breakfast dishes that I enjoyed so far. I will probably do Phase I for 18 days instead of 9, as I can't start eating meat again until Easter, I want to put off the temptation as long as possible. My goal weight is 170, as my fiance doesn't want me to be TOO skinny, and I look ghastly when I'm very small. I'm black, so I like a nice "thick" look. At 170, I am usually in between size 10 and 12.
