38 pounds still to go! That seems like an insignificant amont to lose when you look at my history, but I think I have hit a plateau. I know I will eventually break out of it when I make a few changes. It has been so hard getting through the Christmas holiday alone. I resolve to get out more often and make at least one good friend I can talk to and hang out with this year. Over the holidays I realized I have no one to really share and vent with other than distant friends. Enough of the pity party, I took my son to buy some clothes during the sales, and I decided to try on a size 12 dress. Needless to say, it fit with room to spare. I felt so happy, I can see myself at my goal of a size 8 by summer with no problem. I also picked up some size 20 which I used to stuff myself into, and they were so huge. I cannot believe that I used to wear that size, and thought I looked good in it. Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to put myself down its just a hindsight thought. In other news I have decided to start streaking. Okay, let me explain, I saw this story on the news yesterday where this man has run every day for at least one mile since 1968. I was so amazed I decided I wanted to join in. Right now my goal is to try and run everyday for six months. It can't hurt, maybe it will help break my plateau, make better food choices, and control my appetite. Wish me luck.

Okay, I see. And I feel inspired by you (a little jealous),I can't wait to look at my size 20 and think the things you did. I can only imagine how awesome that must feel, you've accomplished so much. I am guessing you may not have thought you'd get this far at one point. So good for you and keep at it. You'll make it!!!
