I missed the challenge by 1 pound, but I am okay with that.
Last week was just horrible, and Friday morning, my cat was in a car accident. Talk about tremendous stress.The cat is on the mend and will make a full recovery, but I think it's gonna take me several more days before I will!

Still I am happy I lost 9lbs in the last 5 weeks, and I realized that 4 more lbs and I have lost 50 total....and I am in the 210's, which is a victory....If i can lose 8lbs between now and the end of the year, that will still put me in the last leg of the 200's. But I will be at 209...and as long as I was under 210 by the end of the year, THAT is a win.

Keep up the hard work, and glad your cat is on the mends :) This will be a tough week for EVERYONE, but try to not LOSE too much of your gains this week... LOL That's MY goal for the week... if i come out even for the week, THAT will be a WIN!

I'm not worried about the holiday..I have planned my eating accordingly and and I know the calorie counts for everything I am gonna eat..and if I dont know the cal count for something, I'm NOT gonna eat it. last week was hell.......my longtime mentor passed away and then the cat, who is one of my 3 fur babies, was hurt...I didnt work out all week, and didnt log most of my food...

:( BUMMER week for sure... i just hope that I CAN be so disciplined this week! LOL This week WILL be BETTER than last, so enjoy it! :)

I'm counting on the compliments from losing weight (lots of people will see me that havent seen me in a while) will help me remember how far I've come, and give me that little extra boost to watch my eating Thursday lol

The kitty is doing great :) I am bringing some of my own food to the family Thanksgiving, and that helps me feel like I will be able to not go too overboard. I know for sure I can eat white meat turkey and the things I am bringing...there should be some healthier options in the form of raw veggies and stuff too. I know if I feel deprived I will fall off the wagon....so the trick is not to feel like I'm missing anything!

First, I am glad the cat is doing ok, Second, and more importantly, is a word of congratulation on your current weight loss and a standing ovation for your cumulative weight loss. Third, a suggestion for thanksgiving: Moderation beats deprivation. It works for me to at least TASTE the food. If I deprive myself, I will continue to crave the food and then go back and binge. Whereas, if I just get one byte of that "BAD" food, it is enough to satisfy my cravings and I move on. Just an idea! Finally, An early wish for a happy thanksgiving.
