I don't agree that planning for the whole week is the only way to lose weight. HOWEVER...planning AHEAD is crucial. I don't plan for the whole week - although I do have about 3 meals that I can spring up rather quickly. But if I go out to eat, I ALWAYS have a plan. I may even eat a meal before I meet them and just have a salad while I'm there - or I chose wisely at the restaurant. Most restaurants are very accommodating for your diet. You just have to be careful with sauces, etc.
