Santa is going to be p***ed. I was bad.
My office Christmas party is Friday and we all have to bring some grub. That's fine, but this time is different. I work in a small office with two other family members and only seven people total. We are very tight knit and even know some of our coworkers family. My grandma makes all kinds of baked goodies to send to the Christmas party every year (I'm not sure why, she just does). Anyway, she just had surgery to repair a busted shoulder (from benchpressing microwaves) and can only use her left hand right now. Since she's right-handed she can't cook very well and asked me to do all her stuff for her. I don't mind because I'm the designated baker in the family anyway, but I was up until 2am this morning making old skool sugar fudge, PB chocolate chip cookies, hot fudge syrup, and caramel apple cake (is your mouth watering yet?). I am very serious about the awesomeness of my goods, so I always make a tiny side portion to eat to make sure everything is going okay, especially with recipes I've never tried before. Anyway, I decided to skip the scale this morning.
