15 minutes I spent binging.....ice cream. How do I know it was 15 minutes? I put something in the oven, set the timer, then went to the freezer, got the ice cream. I was in a trace eating this ice cream until my tongue was frozen. That is when I stopped binging, 15 minutes later. Why do I do this? I am so mad at myself. Now I feel sick. I hate myself after I do this. Up until now, I have done well today. Tracked my food, drank my water. I wasn't even hungry. But the ice cream was there. And I ate it.

So you did eat it, so what? Don't beat yourself up about it. It would be interesting to find out what let you to this episode of mindless eating. You obviously weren't even aware that you did it. Were you just bored? Or mad at someone? Once you identify the trigger you can do something (go for a walk, go into the garden)so you won't get yourself into a situation like that again. :)

It happens. I've caught myself stuffing my face and then realized what I was doing and then wanted to puke. Mitigate the damages with water, water, water! Do your best to keep that stuff out of the house but I understand when we know we are not the only ones who live in the house. Others have their right to have their goodies. Just wish their goodies were stuff we don't like..... Been there, done that. We go on.....

Yes, exactly. Someone elses goodies! Just "WISH" I could learn to eat just a small portion. Not devour the whole thing or until I am sick or my tongue freezes. "WISH" I could understand. :/
