Diario de R 2 R, 09 feb. 07

Well this is my first day on the atkins and in about 15 minutes I am off for my first morning walk lets hope I can keep it up. I've really enjoyed reading all the comments on the site I think its a big help when trying stay motivated.

Good for you. But dont be suprised if in the next few days you start to feel tired an not well. Its just your body adjusting to the new way of eating. Even if you feel that its not worth it hang in there. Because it goes away and then you start to feel great.

I agree with Nellie and also, if you seem to be one who craves sweets... that too will pass by the third week. Then you will find the diet is much easier to follow. be creative with your meals and try not to eat the same thing all the time and burn yourself out. check out the kitchen for low carb recipes and there is alot out there on the internet. Lowcarbrecipes.com, Atkins.com, and many more! Good luck!

thanks guys. Yes I tried 1 of the recipes tonight and even my children liked it. It was the mashed couli with cream and covered with cheese and bake and it was a great substitute for potatoes. Im not that much of a sweet tooth not that Id say no to sweets but what I find hard to give up is Potatos and bread but so far so good. I must admit I had a sneaky jump on the scales and was pleasantly surprised just yesterday morning I weighed at 115kilos and now Im 113kilos can the diet work this fast or do I need new scales?????? I am drinking non stop water could that play a part?????
