Good appt with the surgeon! Didn't get everything I wanted, but I felt like he listened to me.
Surgeon's verdict....will be having my knee scoped in a couple of weeks, as soon as they can work me in. Once they're inside they'll see what they can do about the meniscus and take a look at the stability of the knee. From there they will decide whether or not they will do the reconstruction of the ACL. I really wish I would know ahead of time, but I have to trust that he will do what's best for me. I've made my intentions clear. I want it FIXED! I don't want this to continue to hold me back.
Oh, by the way....my ACL has been blown since HS. No wonder I've been cautious with it and backed off from physical exercise! I think subconsciously I knew something wasn't right.
So here's to getting this fixed so I can move forward in a whole new way!
