OK.. I don't want to get ahead of myself but I finally feel like I am actually seeing a difference in my body. I weighed in at 163.8 today and I know it's stupid but it just feels so much closer to being back in the 150s than I have been in a long,long time. i tell myself to go by my clothes and not the scale, but when that scale returns a 5 instead of a 6 in the tens field, I would be lying if I didn't say that i will be thrilled. I think 2-3 more weeks and I can be there. I will still have quite a way to go but that will be an achievement for me for sure.

I went through a bad period of eating and drinking horribly the past two years. i couldn't run because I was too hungover on the weekends. I couldn't plan to eat healthy either. I thought just cutting out all alcohol would drop me a good ten pounds but I replaced my red wine with sweet treats like ice cream and continued to eat poorly. I finally feel like I'm getting back on the road to healthiness and it might sounds stupid but it's like this is who I was meant to be. In the end i don't care about the scale... it's the healthy factor that matters... both emotionally and physically healthy. And I feel like I'm getting back on track. <3
