So happy to continue increasing intensity of my work outs. Today was my personal best on my Trekker work out in vertical ft climbed, speed, distance and calories burned. Additionally I am able to add other smaller activities to my day like walking more, etc. When I started my weight loss quest in mid May I looked at various diets and considered a few that are very low calorie, low carb, and high protein (like the IP diet) that tout weight loss without exercise. As my fitness level improves I am very pleased that I decided to go the diet (watching my food intake, keeping calories reasonably low, a good balance of fat/carbs/protein and eating as much unprocessed as I can)AND exercise route. The fitness part feels every bit as good and better than just weight loss. I look forward to getting back to a weight of 110, and I honestly believe I can get there. From that point I fully intend to maintain a healthy lifestyle on from middle age through my golden years. It feels so good to feel good. I had forgotten that, but am now reminded.
