FOOD DIARY
Another Good Day, Im beginning to find weekends the hardest to keep away from food. Today I cooked dinner early and went without breakfast, I know that is not right, but 1 or 2 days a week for me is alright, I did steam a small chicken breast for myself and the other 5 that were here had Steak, onions and Gravy, but we all had steamed veg, baked pops and my low fat Breadcrumbs, so all had a healthy meal. But think I'll have dinner later in future. I am still full and its hours ago but it’s like an extra pressure to stay good as I ate my big POINTS early. Also, the other day I bought 3 McDonalds Solero Ice creams, and froze them Im not the biggest lover of Ice-cream but love Soleros, and I can leave them in the freezer without touching them, now if I did that with chocolate I would hear it screaming at me from the fridge, Im so lucky mine are not huge sweet eaters, so I rarely have anything sweet in the house and if they do like anything its normally pancakes, which I don’t mind not having. And I enjoy cooking them, been known to make 100+ at a time, I might actually make some tomorrow, haven’t made them in a few days.

EXERCISE
NOT THE BEST
Exercise was not really that good today, The weather was beautiful and I sat down outside trying to get a colour, before I go on Hols, YES YES My hols def booked, off to Lanzarote on the 2nd of Oct. Im so looking forward, Think College wont be impressed but this is my third year attending there and I never ever take classes off unless its very important, Anyway studying Travel And Tourism so I will make it a working Holiday.

FAMILY SUPPORT
Think at last the kids are beginning to know Im serious bout weight loss, instead of wine they bought me Bottles of BALLYGOWEN Sparkling water and a big bag of ice. I love sparkling water but always buy the cheapest brands. Tescos 33c and BALLYGOWEN about €2 a bottle, so it’s like a vintage wine to me,

THE WEEK AHEAD
Next Thursday I return to college and my days at last will have structure and I will have a routine, so my lazy days are over as I’ll have plenty of stairs to climb. I am going to at least try and get 1 swim in but its just so far to get to it. I will try at least but wont beat myself up about it if I don’t because from the 2nd of Oct till 9th , I’ll be swimming each days for hours.

OVERALL VIEW OF DAY

Food brilliant, feel full still, Don’t know why, but maybe it was because we all sat down to dinner together, most days its just Kory and I now, and others heat up the food as they come in. Do you know after writing this down, maybe it is because they all ate at the same time and the Kitchen has been closed since, NO FOOD SMELLS, Then all the lads went over to visit with Katie. Telling you that child has everyone on their knees to her, Saucy Minx.
They came back with cans of Lychee’s from Kenneth and Lisa for me. I love these with an Almond Milk Jelly, Must add that as a recipe. Its delicious, had the fatter version in Hong Kong on Lamma Island years ago. My x husband off to there tomorrow, that’s why I suppose Im now long for if.

It sounds like you had a great day overall. It is a bit of a balancing act metering out your daily points so as to have enough to keep you going until the end of the day. But it gets easier with time. I love sparkling water, too and it does make you feel like you're having a treat. I still indulge in wine once in a while, too. At 2 points per glass, it's a worthwhile splurge when you have the points to cover it :D

Yes I also love wine, as Im txting I have bout 10 bottles in the house calling me. Today it was hard so not to have a glass with my dinner. But I have had none since I started last week and Im only going t have 2 drinks next Friday when I meet up with pals for our WE ARE ALL GOING ON A SUNNY HOLIDAY nite. And when Im on holidays Ill make up for it, but I never seem to get my head around to getting drunk and doing the pig on drink. I only started to drink few years ago so lucky I can enjoy water but water is more expensive in the bars than a drink is. I also when I go out I get my sparkling water with a dash of blackcurrant or orange, cuts back on the acidy feeling to much water gives me some time. Carmel

Hiya, You're doing really well and very focused. It must be hard, well it would be for me, cooking for many people and resisting temptation to join in with their food and not eat the healthier option... great work. I agree with the wine, I too enjoy the odd glass, no more binging on it... so I try to keep it to the weekend and do without the other days. I look forward to trying out a few of your recipes too... my sister is thinking about joining soon too. all the best for the coming week X Denise :)

Thanks, same back to you. Hope yr sister join. my sons pal joined last nite, Think today will be hard for me, the youngest hates going to school, he's slight Dyslex and every Monday morning it the same thing, begging for a day off, by the time he leaves Im so stressed. AT this minute I could eat everything in site, but this time I have my Angels here on the site to chat too, and I cant believe how much it helps. He's stomping around the place now while Im typing and as he's not getting the attenion He's much calmer Xx Carmel

You sound very in control of your eating! That's great! And a lovely holiday to look forward to - I'm so happy for you (and just a little envious!). That was so sweet of your kids to bring sparkling water to support you. Keep up the great work!

I know I miss breakfast sometimes... usually when I've got up late and haven't time before I go to work! I usually try to eat some All Bran or Shredded Wheat... both WW Core foods and good way to get some fibre in. Ooh, I love Solero's too... especially the Strawberry and Banana one's -- great that they are only 99 cals! You just keep up that great eating though... lol, you got me hungry talking about Steak, onions and Gravy -- think I better go and cook some tea!! :o)

Ooh those scones sound lovely... hmm, I can't decide what to have for my tea at the moment, think I'll ask my boys what they fancy. You definitely know you're onto a winner though when the kids eat them! :o) Last night I made a rice concoption for lunch to take to work today... my eldest wanted to know if I'd make him some for another day. :o)
