Diario de Janaclare, 28 sep. 10

I'm confused about hidden carbs. I just read the label on chicken broth and it has 1 carb, but in the ingredients sugar is the second item, even though there are no sugars listed on the nutrition label. Does this count as extra calories, carbs, both or neither? This is what really confuses me. I know we look for hidden carbs but are they counted or do we just try not to eat things with hidden carbs in them? Because that seems impossible. If someone can explain this to me I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
