Diario de squigglywiggly, 24 sep. 10

11,175 steps yesterday! Walked fast for 30 mins and then slow for about 1.5 hours - go me! Now if only the scale would be nice to me!

Today I plan on getting back on the wii to do a workout with My Fitness Coach. I need to start working on my muscles again too.

good walk, thanks for the sugarfreesheila site, made me rethink some things. I really want to do weight training to, but dont know where to start. I could lift some weights, but thats only the arms, what about the rest?

pushups, pullups, leg squats, tummy crunches, resistance tubing from sports stores, lunges...

thanks, I will check it out, and FYI, I did a workout with squats months ago, didnt think it was too bad at the time, then for 2-3 days coulnt sit and stand, my legs hurt soooo bad, and the worse thing was that I had to pee every 30 minutes, oh what torture, not going to overdue it in that department again!!!!! Used to do situps all the time, now it hurts when I lie on the floor, even with a mat, but gotta try, wont get anywhere if i dont right?? and I do have one of those resistance bands, never opened it, but had it for years LOL thanks

YOU GO GIRL!!!! That is quite a walk. I should get going on some sort of weight lifting or something of the sort. I figured I was doing enough with lifting and throwing hay, lifting buckets and bags of grain, but the doctor says that I need to do it consistant for at least 1/2 hour to keep the heart rate elavated. She said that with any exercise, you want to keep the heart rate up. So, I guess I had better get cracking.LOL
