To recap on last night, I decided against going to the grocery store for dessert altogether, whether fruit or 100 calorie pack. I just thought going to the grocery store with a sweet tooth could not result in kind of positive outcome lol.

We walked about 3 miles today at a moderate pace and I felt pretty good about that.

I feel like I overdid dinner though- 800 calories at dinner? That sounds a bit ridiculous to me!!

I'm hoping to balance it out by working extra hard tomorrow.
I enjoy seeing smaller numbers on the scale way too much to let a bad dinner ruin it! The old me would say, well once I've already messed up dinner, I might as well get a good dessert (talk about making the bad worse).

Cheers to a better tomorrow

800 calories isn't too bad considering it's half of what you ate all day (or rather more than half!) Looks like you are on track to me! But I hope you felt like today was a better day!

800 calories for dinner is kind of high, in general I've been told to keep meals between 300 and 400 calories. It seems that you've been eating fairly healthy but the section that has the most grams at the end of the night should be your protien. It doesn't look like you got enough protien yesterday and way too much fat. If its difficult for you to get more protien in then you should get a meal replacement powder. If there's a Lifetime Fitness by you, I'd recommend their Fast Fuel. Its pretty good. I hope you don't feel like I'm lecturing you because I'm not trying to lecture just share my knowledge. =)

Thanks for the advice and encouragement guys! I agree with trying to protein up dinner and I'm going to look into the meal replacement. I've tried the concept before but found it a little difficult because I enjoyed the concept of a nice well rounded meal, but hey I'm here to do what works not what I enjoy! lol
