$5 bars is as cheap as you get in Australia! I spent several hours yesterday searching health food and supermarket shelves and was confused about 'total carbs' and 'net carbs' as well. Thanks Amanda!
asked about getting sent some from the states and got customs wanting a huge list of ingredience - 40 mins later decided it is cheaper and easier to pay $5 or eat some walnuts! :-)

I see what you mean. That is a huge hassle. I did't realize you were in Australia. I have never been but it sure seems to be a beautiful place...even if they don't have a good price on Atkins Bars. LOL! It is so good to know the difference between net and total carbs. It seems too good to be true. I feel like I cheated by eating that bar and now I am scared to weigh. Ut-Oh!

Austrailia! Another place I dream of visiting some day. My husband and I say that's going to be a trip we want to take together once we get the kids through college! Austrailia and England! Good luck to ya! dont worry aobout those bars from Atkins. they are wonderful and created for our diet! Enjoy and dont worry! Just count your Net carbs and you will be fine. :)
