As if I weren't already busy enough, I have added brazilian jiu jitsu to my regime of self improvement. I worked so hard last night! It felt really good to be sore this morning- it's that i haven't REALLY used these muscles in a while sore. Jiu jitsu works muscles that I must be missing in my other workouts. Slight weight gain, but I am sure it is water weight. (I'm not going to log it unless it stays up for a few days)

Thanks Amy- martial arts is great for kids with special needs. It teaches them not only balance but that there is a way for them to achieve some of the same goals as not challenged kids even if they have to get there in a different way. We have a few special needs kids, from autism and asbergers, to a kid with braces on his legs due to spina bifida. they all do great and it teaches the kids with focus and attention limitations to be able to focus mentally, and to be come part of the world around them.
