hmmm...Let's see! There's a few things causing some melancholy around here, and we need to deal with them! For one, the summer is about to come to a close! Is it just me, or did this season pass ridiculously fast?! My son will be a JUNIOR in high school!! I do not believe it! Talk about time zooming by!! Now that he has his cast off and is wearing a removable brace on his leg, we can finally get down to the Mall for school clothes! Should we do it tomorrow, even though I am literally BURIED under the work in the nursery? That will only stress me out and make work harder or impossible to catch up on! OR Should I do it Sunday? Since this is his Dad's weekend visitation, that would mean he'd have to cut it a bit short in order to shop. I struggle with that alternative because I'm not sure it's fair to Mitchell's dad, considering his dad hasn't seen him since the first week of July. OH BOY...AND THE HITS JUST KEEP ON COMING!!! decisions decisions decisions!!
After I got home from our church board meeting last night, hubby called me into room for a "little discussion". Of course, he worried me immediately. All I could think was that I was IN TROUBLE for all the work going on in my life, and not enough play or interaction with him! Although I wouldn't totally agree with that, there would be a bit of validity to it!
INSTEAD, he hugged me really tight, told me how much he loves me, and gave me a beautiful diamond heart-shaped necklace! LOL Part of me was saying "Whew!!" and the other was smiling ear to ear!
So, instead of telling you all that BAD ANDEE is in trouble yet again...I fooled ya! I'm NOT in trouble! But I'm definitely sparkling over here! :)

Awe... bravo, bravo!! Good luck on the school shopping dilema. I here ya and agree w/how fast summer is here and gone. Specially round here, where it's just not been a good summer! It's the fast of the seasons, for me, anyways. Maybe have your son start looking at some clothes online and maybe you can pick them out for him to try on when he gets home and exchange for different sizes if they do not fit later, but at least have something to get him started?? Or, as his dad to start the shopping with him, it just happens to be what needs to be done, right? Good luck!!

The necklace was his way of showing relief for the fact that I'm not sick...another celebration, as if dinner wasn't enough or something! We even had a discussion before the biopsy results came in, that if my problem was environmental, as is probable, he would take me to live in my favorite place in the U.S.; North Carolina! NOw THAT is a sweet husband! (then again, he probably just doesn't want to cook or do his own laundry if I go by myself! LOL)
