Well I had a gain today. :( But I'm ok with that. I know it was because of what I ate (cheese fries, ice cream). I know I will have these items in my life from time to time and I'm willing to pay the consequence of it.

Even though I had a gain.... today is 8 weeks and I actually lost 13.25 inches. I'm ok with the 1.6 lb gain knowing I lost inches! :)

I also finished my 2nd full week of work. I'm still having a hard time adjusting to it all. So tired! Yesterday was the first day I did something, understood it, finished it and they loved it. Expenses. I know expenses. Apparently no one has been monitoring the expenses. So that was an eye opener for them.

I also got paid yesterday! My first real paycheck in over a year! Yeah! And when I woke up... I checked my acct balance.... and 40 minutes later, it was gone. Darn those bills! lol But it felt good to be able to pay EVERY bill at once.

Today I'm hoping the sun comes out because I want to hang by the pool for a bit. I might be getting together with my lil cousin later. I'm taking her to do a baby shower registry and I'm going to start planning her baby shower. Yeah!

That's about it with me. Oh yeah, I need to get exercise in too. I've taken 2.5 weeks off.... or is it 3 weeks?? I need to get that back into the schedule.

Side note... I stopped at a clothing store the other day because they were having a sale. I bought this really cute skirt, but it's too big. :( They don't have a smaller size and for $6.... I think I'm gonna try and take it in myself. Has anyone else done this themselves? It's an elastic waist. Just thought I'd ask.

Ok, I need to clean and do laundry before pool time!
