I survived a full week! YEAH!

I wanted to comment about some things people posted yesterday... all good stuff.

1. I'm a "temp" for now. So I didn't take anyone's position. Thank god. that would be AWKWARD. lol
2. I'm starting to think this is a new division. No one to train me. Both my bosses are new (CEO and COO) and they have all these ideas from their old companies.... they don't realize this company isn't set up like their former employment.
3. What I am learning from people.... they're in Boston or the UK. I don't think they'll travel to have lunch with me. Slackers.

The lady next to me is becoming the chatter box. Although doesn't invite me to lunch.... anywho... the turnover rate at this company is high. Sales. She said they always see new people and just assume they won't last cuz they usually don't. Nice, huh? She also complains alot. lol

I forgot who said it, but I think a lot has to do with who I support. These folks are all phone people (nothing wrong with that), I believe they take calls from folks who have car problems / insurance problems.

So what did I learn today??? Well, I was going over the Expense policy.... and it is forbidden to expense dog biscuits. Yep. I'm serious. It's in the manual. lol Ummm was this an issue at one point? Seriously. I turned to the lady next to me and told her.... her response "I don't get it".

Still gung ho on my water. I'm curious if the folks around me think I eat a lot. lol I always have a snack. Cucumbers. Veggies. Salad. I seem to bring food that crunches loudly. I share an office with 2 others (our jobs having nothiing to do with each other) and it is VERY QUIET. No windows. Small office. In fact, the hallway outside the door... the lights aren't on. It is so bizarre.

But it's the weekend! And I'm going to rest! I'm hoping for some sun so I can go swimming. Then more rest. And maybe a nap.
